Jute rope firestarters are a classic and one of our favorite essentials in any bushcraft fire kit. Each piece is handmade by us using high quality European sourced jute and premium wax. The result is a compact, water resistant and extremely reliable tinder that ignites with minimal effort.
Every box contains 20 pieces. They are lightweight, easy to carry and designed for fast ignition in any weather. To use them, simply take a piece, fluff it up a bit with your fingers to expose the inner fibers and strike your ferro rod directly onto it. The waxed jute will catch sparks instantly and produce a hot, steady flame strong enough to ignite kindling even in wet or windy conditions.
