I’m Aratz, the creator of LastBush Survival. Most of my days are spent outdoors – exploring the forests, building, and learning from every small detail the wild has to teach. My dog is always by my side, sharing these moments with me. Many of the ideas, tools, and products you see today come from mornings like this one: quiet, simple, and connected to nature.
LastBush Survival grew from these experiences and from the desire to craft reliable, handmade gear that truly works in the field. Every piece is inspired by real life in the forest, tested by us, and created with care.

Every piece of gear at LastBush Survival begins in the forests of the Basque Country. Fatwood, flint, and other natural materials are carefully and sustainably harvested by hand, always with respect for the environment. In these quiet moments, surrounded by trees and the sounds of the forest, ideas take shape and inspiration strikes.
Back in our workshop, each ferro rod, fire starter, and kit is carefully assembled, tested, and finished in small batches. This hands-on approach ensures every tool is reliable, functional, and built with care. Our goal is simple: create outdoor gear that performs in real conditions and reflects a deep connection to nature.

LastBush Survival started long before I ever opened a camera or uploaded a video. I’ve always lived close to the forest, learning the basics of bushcraft, shelter building, firecraft and simple ways of living outdoors. When I finally created my YouTube channel, I just wanted to share that lifestyle and the small lessons I had picked up along the way.
That same mindset is what guides LastBush Survival today. I want this brand to be more than just gear. I want it to reflect the lifestyle that built it: spending time in the forest, learning from nature, appreciating what the forest has to offer, and crafting reliable gear that actually makes sense outside. My goal is to create equipment that feels honest, functional and long lasting, designed for people who appreciate simplicity, reliability and the beauty of natural materials.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Every view, every comment and every person who took a moment to support what I do has helped shape LastBush Survival into something real. This is just the beginning, and I’m glad you’re here for the journey.
